A few posts back I have already introduced you to the North Londoner artist Basheba. Earlier this year, the singer has dropped her mixtape Axiom, and just a few days ago the follow-up Axiom Pt.2 got released, with Shame as lead single.

Shame is an incredibly soulful track and comes straight from the heart. According to the talented musician, it “is about a real situation I went through. At the time I was writing it to vent but it ended up being one of my favourite songs I’ve written. I feel a lot of people will relate to Shame and the story behind it. It was Produced by Ogre and Runone who I’ve worked with a lot in the past. Runone sent me the beat and I instantly fell in love with it.”

With the ongoing and well-deserved support of big radio stations such as BBC 1 or BBC 1xtra, and major online magazines (Complex, and SBTV among others), Basheba is not going to go anywhere soon – so make sure to check her out!
