I’m honestly surprised of all the talent coming from Leeds. Only yesterday I featured Leeds-based act Dream Estate and today I’ve got another band from this beautiful Northern city for you. Meet Laminate Pet Animal!

Influenced by Gold Panda, The Japanese House and Bonoboo, their sound showcases fabulously mellow and easy-going yet sprightly melodies. Starting off by remixing various Leeds-based bands, Charlotte Jones (I actually know her from high school, and already then she was one of the most talented people I met), Tom Bradshaw and Thomas Truman ultimately released their single For Her at the end of last year and successfully supported electronic acts such as Gold Panda, Emancipator and Slow Magic on tour.

Just in February the Electronica trio has dropped their latest single Eve, another electronic-pop production full of amazing vocals and big bass lines.
In case you’re around: They are performing at Brudenell Social Club in Leeds on May 10th. You do not want to miss this 🙂

Check out Eve below, and follow them on Spotify!
