Today I have got a very special artist in store for you, whose music will leave you nothing but hooked: singer-songwriter Blaylock.
Having written songs with the world’s best songwriters for the past two years, Blaylock has already seen his music being used in several UK and US TV-commercials and played on renowned radio stations such as BBC Radio 1 or Radio 2 – just to mention a few. Furthermore he was granted the incredible once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to compose a song in honour to celebrate the life of Nelson Mandela, which got presented by the South African archbishop.
Obviously hard work pays off, which we can clearly notice in his dramatic debut single Lighthouse earlier this year – a heartfelt piano-production that showcases true talent.
Can’t Lose Hope marks the latest release of this Manchester-based musician. It was originally written for Warner’s movie Suicide Squad, isn’t that imposing?
“When I was in LA last year I was invited by Warner to write songs for a scene in the Suicide Squad movie, this was one of the songs written to pitch for the movie, it never made the cut unfortunately but the song came out great.” – Blaylock
And it sure did come out great. A haunting melody that is the soaring sound of a piano, alongside Blaylock’s warm yet astonishingly powerful vocals will turn this one on repeat in your playlist, especially on rainy days like these.
